WALK IS SEEKING APPLICATIONS FOR THE ROLE OF TEAM LEADER TO JOIN OUR
DAY OPPORTUNITIES TEAM.
The Team Leader will play a leading role in the on-going development
of person-centred practice and thinking within WALK and be responsible
for the day-to-day operations of some key deliverables. A detailed job
description is attached. Team Leaders are key drivers and champions in
the organization's efforts to ensure people supported have the best
possible life.
GENERAL ROLE OUTLINE:
WALK Day opportunities programmes & support are delivered across
several geographical locations in Dublin. The Team Leader is
responsible for the leadership and co-ordination of a community base.
It is a key role within the leadership structure of the organisation
and in ensuring person centred approaches are inherent in the thinking
and practice of staff and in the provision of our models of support.
The person will work collaboratively with the Programme Coordinator
Operations Lead and Leader of Day supports & Practice Developers in
the evolution of day support services.
